FireHawk is one of those unashamedly fun, silly games that are just perfect for mobile phones. It's a classic-style arcade shooter, in which you pilot an aircraft and destroy all enemies in your path. Your plane spits out bullets and bombs constantly, so no need to hit a 'fire' key. In fact, it's pretty difficult not to destroy your first few enemies and, at first, the game feels like it's a bit too easy. As things progress, however, the game gets harder and the bosses get nastier!

In terms of graphics, FireHawk performs well, but not brilliantly. The game's sound effects are OK but the repetitive electronic soundtrack is pretty irritating. Luckily, the music and SFX volume can be changed separately! In all, FireHawk is a fun and exciting game which is only slightly let down by an irritating soundtrack.
